CYCLONES PULL OFF WIN AGAINST A DETERMINED CENTRAL TEAM

After a fast start of moving the ball around and taking shots on goal by the Cyclones, Central sent a long ball to get a quick goal making it 1-0 with 15 minutes left in the half. Although we dominated the game with passing and shooting, Central still was making a game of it. The Cyclones finally found a goal before half was over to equalize the game. I explained to the girls at half time, that we don't play a kick ball game, and to settle the ball down and start passing. It's tough at this age for the girls not to get caught up in it, and they did. With Katrina having an outstanding game, I moved her to the middle to see if she could spark the offense. Within minutes she created enough for our girls to score. With a final score of 2-1 over a very determined Central team, we are now 2 wins and 0 losses in league. We have a lot to work on this week to prepare for South Valley. Great win Cyclones and great play Katrina (our captain for the week)!
