SOUTH VALLEY BATTLES CYCLONES TO THE WIRE

After a dominating performance by CVSA against South Valley on Saturday, South Valley came back on Sunday ready to win. Our girls had a great game on Saturday with a 4-1 win over South Valley. Pauline had a great game by burying 3 goals in the back of the net in the second half. Then came Sunday, not only was coach a little late (a little?) but the Coach from South Valley regrouped from Saturday's game very well. They came to play, and they had a game plan to beat CVSA. Little did they now: WE DON'T GIVE UP. All the girls played their hearts out, and I couldn't have asked for more. A tough battle that was finally settled with a goal from Isabella in the second half. Both teams played great. It's always good to play a team of that caliber. On a side note, Coach Neal from South Valley might be borrowing some of our girls for a tournament in July. This is the way teams should work together; helping each other when we can, and not worrying about someone trying to steal players. Coach Neal also offered us some of his girls if we ever need them. Great battle by two great teams. Way to go Cyclones & South Valley......good soccer!
